Tanzanite Arrowhead Ring - December Birthstone Shield Blue Tanzanite Ring in a Reclaimed White Gold setting - rustic ring by Anueva Jewelry

$470.00

Tribal - Artifact - Arrowhead Tanzanite Ring

Treat yourself to something different. Showcase your wild side with this Tanzanite Arrowhead Ring in my Artifacts collection. Sculpted by myself, the setting was cast in 100% post consumer reclaimed 14k white gold to mimic ancient cultural jewels dug from the earth. It's my wish that whomever wears this ring feels empowered and brave, and reminded of our primal instincts.

Set in the ring is a 0.70ct custom kite cut Tanzanite, natural and unheated. The ring shank is 2.15mm wide. In the setting, the tanzanite measures about 9mm long by 8mm wide. The ring weighs 3.3 g. and is a size 7. The ring is resizable by Anueva or by your local jeweler. Once resized, however, it is non refundable.

About Tanzanite:

Tanzanite is noted for its remarkably strong trichroism, appearing alternately sapphire blue, violet and burgundy depending on crystal orientation. Tanzanite can also appear differently when viewed under alternate lighting conditions. The blues appear more evident when subjected to fluorescent light and the violet hues can be seen readily when viewed under incandescent illumination. Tanzanite is usually a reddish brown in its rough state, requiring heat treatment to bring out the blue violet of the stone.

The mineral was named by Tiffany & Co. after Tanzania, the country in which it was discovered. In 2002, the American Gem Trade Association chose Tanzanite as a December birthstone. This particular tanzanite was ethically sourced from the Merelani Hills in Northern Tanzania.

Tanzanite is one of the birthstones for December.

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
