A gemstone or diamond certification card is a small, document (wallet-sized) that summarizes the key details of a gemstone and verifies its authenticity. Think of it as a “mini report” that accompanies the stone. This is for loose stones only. For jewelry, please go to our appraisal product page for more details.

What it typically includes:

  • Type of gemstone (e.g., diamond, sapphire, emerald)

  • Weight (carats)

  • Cut and shape

  • Color and clarity (if applicable)

  • Origin or treatment info (natural, lab-grown, heat-treated, etc.)

  • Unique report number

What it’s used for:

  • Proof of authenticity

  • Easy reference for buyers

  • Supporting documentation for insurance

Process & Timing:

  • This service takes 7-14 business days to complete.
  • Adding an gemstone report card may extend the delivery time for your order by approximately two weeks.

Please note that a certification card is usually a summary, not a full grading report. This report card is meant for quick, convenient verification.

Important: While our appraiser holds a Gemology degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), this is not a GIA report, nor is he authorized to create one.

Shipping

Rings will ship in an Anueva Jewelry ring box, with the exception of most bands which will ship in a ring pouch. The package will be insured and require signature confirmation. Please be sure to use an address that will have someone available to sign during mail delivery times. If providing a business address, please include the business name.

Shipping Days

Our shipping days are Mondays and Tuesdays for all delivery speed options. On Thursdays, we only ship overnight orders to avoid any delays with packages sitting in courier warehouse over the weekend.

Our overnight and 2-day shipping refers to the delivery speed only and do not include the processing time for your order. If you place an order outside of business hours, it will be shipped on the next business day.

FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays.

International Shipping

Please be aware your country might require additional duties/taxes. We are not held responsible for any delays or fees charged by customs/duties in your country. The buyer is responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or brokerage fees. Customers are welcome to find and use a customs broker to help with international shipping. If you are going to work with a customs broker, please provide us with their information when confirming shipping.

 

Appraisals

If you would like to have the ring appraised, there is a $175 appraisal fee that you can add to cart here. We will take the ring downtown to be appraised by a third party GIA gemologist appraiser and provide details for your insurance purposes. Please note, this can add approximately 2 weeks to your order timeline.
