Modern and Artisanal Rose Gold "Old Mine Cut" Cushion Bezel Ring
Our newest bezel settings are chunky, weighty and luxurious. In comparison to our 4-prong carved solitaire settings which let the center stone do all the talking, these settings are a work of art all on their own. Set just high enough to allow wedding bands to stack, the rings are comfortable and fuss-free, as the center stone is protected by a frame of solid precious metal. This ring features a warm colored modern "Old Mine Cushion Cut" diamond- a stone that was newly cut to mimic the antique cushion cuts with an open culet and wider facets. It measures 8x7.3x2.9mm and weighs 1.54ct. It was an estimated VS clarity, L-M warm color, and appears a very light champagne when set in the warm 18k rose gold.
Unlike most true antique old cushions that carry more of the weight of the stone in the height/depth, this new cut is more "spready"- providing the finger coverage of a 2ct diamond for less.
The band of the ring measures about 2mm wide and is fully rounded for comfort. The ring is currently a size 6.5 and is resizable for a small fee. Once resized, however, it is non refundable. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for resizing.
