The public park has seven different thematic gardens, hundreds of plant varieties, countless ponds, and several trails. If you can plan your proposal in the spring or autumn time, you may find yourself among flowering cherry trees and magnolias. Make sure to check the park hours before you go as it is only open to the public Wednesday-Sunday until 4:00 PM. 

5. RATTLESNAKE LEDGE

For all of the mountaineers out there, Rattlesnake Ledge is a dream proposal spot. Although the mountain range is about 35 miles southeast of Seattle, you can easily spend the entire day there, making the trip well worth the drive to North Bend. As you venture through the forest on your way up, you’ll sneak some beautiful views of the Cedar River, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake, and Chester Morse Lake. If you’re an early riser, getting a head start on this trail may work in your favor. While the hike itself isn’t overly strenuous, catching the morning sunrise on the ridge is such an incredible sight, you’ll want to share it with your soon-to-be bride or groom.
