2.60CT OVAL MONTANA SAPPHIRE, VIBRANT BLUE WITH PERIWINKLE. This is a spectacular precision cut sapphire, mined and polished right here in the United States. This sapphire comes from the Rock Creek deposit in Montana and is very clean/clear for a sapphire from the region. It does have some lighter ribbon-like inclusions deep within the stone but they are not offensive to the naked eye. Its diamond-like cut helps the sapphire sparkle with intensity. It was heated to improve color and clarity, and measures 8.9x7.2MM. This is a very rare larger size for a sapphire from Montana!

About Heat Treatments: Some colored gemstones are routinely heated for color and clarity improvement. This is a permanent treatment and typically only involves heat and not chemicals. The treatment mimics what the earth does naturally to gemstones as they reach the surface. If the stone says "Unheated," it is not treated in any way.

This ring will ship in an Anueva Jewelry reusable gift pouch. The package will be insured and require signature confirmation. Please be sure to use an address that will have someone available to sign during mail delivery times. If providing a business address, please include the business name.

International buyers, please message me for shipping rates prior to purchasing.

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
