Antique Diamonds Stand the Test of Time!
For sale is an estate gently used antique diamond ring. Antique diamonds are incredible for their sparkle, pastel rainbow flashes and for the fact that they were uniquely cut by hand a century ago!
Developed in 18th century Europe, old mine cushion cuts were not round but had a slightly curved edge which formed a soft square. They were made with a variety of facet patterns but always with a small table, high crown, and larger culet (the open "hole," the heart of the stone you see down at the bottom.)
This old mine cushion cut diamond is an incredible example of the old style. It was graded by the EGL USA labs as K color VS2 clarity. It measures 7.03x6.54x4.20mm and weighs 1.37ct.
The ring itself is a reproduction in an antique style, custom made to fit this special stone. The mounting is solid platinum and weighs 5.8g with 0.52ct of natural white diamonds and 0.25ct of natural royal blue sapphires.
This ring is currently a size 4.75-5. It can be sized per your specifications, but please note that once resized, the ring is non-refundable. Please allow 2 weeks for resizing.
This ring will ship in an Anueva Jewelry reusable gift pouch. The package will be insured and require signature confirmation. Please be sure to use an address that will have someone available to sign during mail delivery times. If providing a business address, please include the business name.

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
If you would like to have the ring appraised, there is a $150 appraisal fee that you can add to cart here. We will take the ring downtown to be appraised by a third party GIA gemologist appraiser and provide details for your insurance purposes.
