Antique Inspired Engagement Ring- White Rosecut Zircon and Diamond Halo ring in Platinum

Own an heirloom quality vintage-inspired rosecut ring at the fraction of the cost of a rosecut diamond!

View a video of this ring here.

A dainty but durable white diamond halo with prongs secures a custom cut 8x6mm rosecut white zircon. The zircon is untreated with excellent clarity, eye-clean and white. A rosecut diamond ring of the same size would be valued at least 3x this piece.

The ring setting is platinum, a strong, rare and white metal that does not need to be plated to stay white. The band is 1.5mm wide and the setting is slightly elevated above the finger to allow height beneath the clear rosecut center.

The 22 diamonds in the halo are 1mm in diameter, GH color and VS2-SI clarity.

This ring is a size 7 and is resizable for a fee by us or by your own jeweler. Please email me if you would like it resized. Once resized, however, it is non-refundable.

Like this style but want something different? This is a customizable design and is also available in rose, white, yellow gold and platinum and with different center stones.

About Zircon:

Zircon is an underrated but magnificent gemstone that has been worn and treasured since ancient times. Don't be confused by the name. Zircon is not the synthetic material known as cubic zirconia. It's a completely distinct, natural species. Coincidentally, zircon is the original diamond simulant. When properly cut, colorless stones can make beautiful and convincing diamond substitutes and even outshine mediocre diamonds. Its high dispersion is close to that of diamond.

Zircon is not as durable as diamond, but when worn in a protective setting like this halo setting, it can last a very long time when worn with care.

Making a Difference:

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
