$7,100.00

Amazing Montana Sapphire Medley

Our recent trip to the gem show in Tucson afforded us the opportunity to select some amazing matched Montana sapphire pairs for three stone rings. We loved this exceptional medium teal green pair and wanted to match them with the most rare round Montana sapphire in our inventory!

This ring is crafted in recycled 14k yellow gold and boasts 3.11ctw in American mined and cut Montana Sapphires!

Sapphire details:

Center:

2.10CT ROUND MONTANA SAPPHIRE, COLOR SHIFTING TEAL, BLUE, PURPLE, GREY, 7.81MM. This stone is a rarity; Montana Sapphires in this larger size are already hard to come by, and one with such a wide spectrum of color change with this clarity are even more rare. This sapphire has been heated, a permanent treatment, and exhibits denim blue, teal blue/green, deep slate grey and some purple as it moves throughout different lighting sources. The person who ends up purchasing this ring will be one lucky sapphire owner! There is one light, thin feathery line inclusion deep in the stone which does not detract from its beauty, but good to note if you are looking for a stone with flawless clarity.

Side stones:

1.11CTW 5MM MATCHED TEAL ROUNDS. The sparkle, saturation and clarity of these side stones are so lovely. The color reminds us of tropical tides. These two have been heated as well, a permanent treatment.

Ring Details:

The band is rounded, smooth and plain. We can add our signature Evergreen texture by request.

The ring is currently a size 6.5 and is resizable at no charge. Once resized, however, it is non refundable. Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks for resizing. Continue to order and email us after purchase if you would like this ring to be resized.

Please include an address at checkout where someone will be available to sign for the package via FedEx or UPS Express. If being sent to a business location, please provide the business name. International buyers are liable for paying customs/taxes/duties.

About Montana Sapphire:

Sapphire is the birthstone for September. It is also a traditional gift for those celebrating 5th or 45th anniversaries. Sapphires are often associated with loyalty and dignity and are a favorite gemstone for royalty.

Most natural sapphires undergo heat treatment to improve their color and clarity. This industry-accepted practice results in a permanent enhancement and helps protect against accidental chipping or breakage.

Montana sapphires are mined in the state of Montana, USA. They were discovered in Montana in the late 1800's by a gold miner working on one of the gravel bars on the Missouri River near Helena. Some would consider these stones a more eco-friendly option because today's popular mining operations make efforts to restore the land after mining, replacing soil and seeding with native grasses.

Montana sapphires are recognized for their extraordinary blue-green tones, often lighter in color. They also may have a silver tint to them which you don't often find.  Sizes in over 6mm are also becoming much more difficult to source.

Like all sapphires, Montana Sapphires are very durable and make an excellent choice for a center stone in jewelry.

Making a Difference:

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change. You will be reminded of your efforts each time you look down at your beautiful ring.
