Green Emerald Yellow Gold Ring - March Birthstone - Natural Emerald Organic Ring - Freeform hand carved recycled gold ring by Anueva Jewelry

$380.00

One-of-a-Kind Hand Carved Oval Emerald Ring

This ring is the only one of it's kind! The stone was hand picked from a selection of ethically traceable natural Zambian emeralds and set in a hand carved 10k yellow gold bezel setting. The ring shank is wavy and free; mimicking coral and wave shapes found in nature.

This natural emerald gemstone appears to be embedded in liquid gold. The stone with the "messy" bezel setting included measures about 9.15mm by 7.95mm. This particular emerald appears to have some sort of lighter surface scratch or natural internal inclusion toward one end of the oval. It is difficult for me to tell what it is exactly, so I have marked the price of this ring down accordingly. It's still a beautiful stone and the lighter streak is only visible when you are looking at the ring very close.

The ring is currently a size 5.75 and is resizable with limitations by myself or by your local jeweler. Once resized, however, it is non refundable.

The gold used in this ring is eco-friendly 100% post-consumer recycled yellow gold in 10k. The shank measures approximately 3mm wide.

CUSTOM RINGS- I have more emeralds and other gemstones on-hand and can make a ring like this for you in a different size. Please message me to see the stone selection.

About Natural Zambian Emeralds:

Zambia is fast making a name for itself in regards to the mining of these precious stones. In recent decades, production of the May birthstone in this part of the world has dramatically picked up in pace as jewelers and consumers alike discover the inherent and distinct beauty of this country’s bluish-green emeralds, which are said by many to rival Colombian emeralds’ distinct deep green in eye appeal.

Emerald engagement rings that feature stones from Zambia are distinct in their coloration. These stones are said to carry color throughout whereas those from Colombia tend to have a clear core. In addition, Zambian stones tend to be a little less brittle and porous than emeralds mined in other parts of the world, making them a touch stronger naturally.

The emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus. It was thought to preserve love. The emerald has long been the symbol of hope. It is considered by many to be the stone of prophecy. For some the emerald acts as a tranquilizer for a troubled mind.

Gemstones from Anueva Jewelry are purchased through traceable channels and ethical mining operations that benefit the communities.

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
