2.33ct Oval Pink Spinel Rose Gold Ring - Hand Carved 4-prong Solitaire Gemstone Ring by Anueva Jewelry

$1,700.00

Rose gold goes so well with so many gemstone colors, but I especially love the romantic combination of rose gold and pink or purple stones.

This oval spinel is a combination of a rose pink with some lilac tones to it, and like many spinel and sapphires looks different in various light sources. The stone is untreated. Natural inclusions are scattered throughout but are difficult to see with the naked eye from a normal distance on the hand. The stone is sparkling and clear, eye-clean. It weighs 2.33ct and measures 8.65 x 7.00 x 4.76mm in a modified oval step cut. A less expensive alternative to sapphire, I've seen spinel often have more brilliance and translucence than sapphire as well.

The stunning spinel is prong set in post-consumer recycled solid 14k rose gold. The band is about 1.9mm thick, fully rounded, and was hand carved by myself for an organic, eclectic texture.

The ring is currently a size 7.5 and is is fully sizable for a fee. Please allow 1-2 weeks for resizing. Once resized, however, the ring cannot be returned for a refund.

About the Stone:

Spinel is a gemstone that at one time was most famous for being mistaken for ruby or sapphire. These days spinel gets the respect it deserves - it is recognized for its excellent hardness , brilliance, and the fact that unlike most ruby and sapphire gemstones, spinel is never heated or treated in any way. It was recently made a new birthstone for August.

Due to its very good dispersion, spinel gemstones can possess vivid fire. The intensity of spinel color is in part due to the fact that spinel is one of the few singly refractive gemstones, the others include garnet and diamond.

Making a Difference:

Help fight climate change with this purchase! Trees are like the lungs of the planet...our "natural air purifiers." They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. Additionally, they provide habitat for birds and other wildlife and play a vital role in our natural water cycle. Forests help regulate the water in the air through a process called transpiration. They absorb thousands of gallons of water into their roots. Excess water is then released through the leaves back into the air. For every purchase made, I donate one planted tree through Plant-It 2020. Small changes by individuals can make a difference in the fight against climate change.
